Casinos would cost Philadelphia $52 million per year
We've released the report: You Pay Even if You Don't Play, that demonstrates that casinos will drain resources from Philadelphia, at a rate of at least $52 million per year. That's $52 million that could be spent on any other city priorities. That's $52 million that would be needed just for Philadelphia that Governor Rendell has not accounted for. He needs to think seriously about whether casinos are worth it.
Take a look at our report and sign up to join us at the Debate-In on Thursday to bring the issue straight to Rendell's door!
