We are struggling to build media, take power back in our neighborhoods, and to organize school systems, homes, and communities that represent us. Very often, elected representatives and appointed officials stand between us and the world we want to build. Are you confused about how lobbying, or direct advocacy work? Do you want your voice to work for you in city council, in Harrisburg, or on Capitol Hill?

This lobby training will help you build the basics to figure out who you want to target in elected circles, how to book meetings with them, and how to use your voice to build power for your fight. You will practice lobbying, and leave with practical tools you can put to work right away.

There are two chances to participate in this powerful workshop, with organizers from the Media Mobilizing Project, Casino-Free Philadelphia, and the Prometheus Radio Project. This is a free workshop, with snacks and beverages provided!
