Over a year ago, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Editorial Editor wrote a scathing rebuke to citizens asking for greater input in casinos. He called our efforts "depressing." He used all the tired expressions -- "done deal" and "that train done gone and left the station."

Well the train has backed up and is shifting into reverse.

What a difference a year of hard work makes.

The Philadelphia Inquirer Editorial Board wrote of a vastly different story yesterday. They support SugarHouse and Foxwoods resiting to locations further away from neighborhoods, writing:

On November 5th, the following letter was sent out to all of the Sugarhouse and Foxwoods investors. We requested a response by November 20th but have not heard anything back.
